Jun Morimura
Jun is responsible for building strategy as well as driving execution and business outcomes for Vision Care Japan. Together with the Japan Leadership Team, he drives and evolves the Japanese growth strategy for Johnson & Johnson Vision to expand our leadership in eye health. Jun also serves as part of the Japan President’s Council.
Jun has close to 30 years of experience within large multinational companies, and across various functions, including market research and marketing planning. In 2006, Jun joined Vision Care as a Senior Marketing Research leader, leading the first digital and e-marketing team in Japan. In that role, Jun accelerated key consumer marketing campaigns, including the “Mass to Ask” free trial campaign and established globally the first “My ACUVUE” consumer loyalty program. He was awarded the James E. Burke Award in the Asia Pacific region for this.
Jun was also the chief architect of the three-year strategic plan, the Business Model Innovation project, which contributed to a pivotal transformation of the business in Japan. This program changed the growth trajectory of Japan and continues to drive growth today. An advocate of personal growth and development, Jun moved to Janssen Data Science, United States in 2018 to expand his skill set. His leadership capabilities and ability to create value across sectors led him to become the head of the Janssen Data Science team in 2019.
