Matt leads the global business intelligence team across J&J Vision, responsible for advancing the analytics and insights capability inclusive of J&J’s Commercial, Digital, and Innovation agenda. He helps the business leverage data, advanced analytics, and real-time insights to identify trends, emerging market dynamics, and potential opportunities across the business to deliver above-market growth.
Matt leads a global team responsible for advancing the analytics and insights capability enabling our Commercial, Digital, and Innovation agenda. His team is responsible for enabling a data-first culture of decision-making by leveraging data, advanced analytics, data science, and real-time insights to identify trends, emerging market dynamics, and potential opportunities across the business to deliver above-market growth.
Throughout his 18-year career at Johnson & Johnson, spanning both Pharm and MedTech sectors, Matt has provided strategic leadership across many facets of the organization, including commercial insights and analytics, strategy, sales learning and development, revenue growth management, customer marketing, sales force effectiveness, and finance. Prior to his role leading Global Business Intelligence for J&J Vision, he served as Senior Director, Commercial Insights and Strategy, supporting the Janssen North America (NA) Cardiovascular and Metabolism (CVM) Therapeutic Area, where he led the Commercial Excellence (CE) team that enabled successful stabilization of the CVM base business.
Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Matt started his career in finance within the food and beverage industry supporting supply chain and new product development.
